WHO IS CAL HAMPTON?
Cal Hampton is Jason Duval's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder's. He feels safest hanging out at home — snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. Cal calls himself "the low tide of America," and he's happy there. His casual paranoia loves company, but his friend Jason has bigger plans — and how far Cal gets pulled into them is one of the more interesting open questions heading into the story.
