Preorders are live. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar opened preorders on June 25, 2026, with pricing, editions, and a preorder bonus confirmed. Here's exactly what you get with each option and when you'll actually be able to play.
What does GTA 6 cost?
Two editions. The Standard Edition is $79.99, available both digitally and physically (the physical box ships with a download code, not a disc). The Ultimate Edition is $99.99 and layers on a large bundle of extra vehicles, weapons, and cosmetics on top of the base game — see below for what's actually in it.
What's the preorder bonus?
Preorder either edition before November 20, 2026 and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack at no extra cost: a '55 Vapid Stanier sedan with a Shore Court garage (weapon locker and fencing included), Jason- and Lucia-specific outfits and hairstyles styled after Vice City's golden era, and a tropical weapon pattern pulled straight from Tommy Vercetti's aesthetic. Digital preorders also come with one free month of GTA+.
What's in the Ultimate Edition?
On top of the preorder bonus, Ultimate Edition owners get a '95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, a pair of engraved Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, personalized weapon variants for both protagonists, additional outfits and tattoos, extra safehouse vehicles (motorcycle, kayak, buggy), a special car restoration side mission, and access to six specialty in-game shops — Rideout Customs, Sara's Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo, One-Eyed Willie's, and the PTT Youngin$ Compound.
When can I preload it?
Digital preloading starts November 12, 2026 — one week before launch. Physical copies (download-code-only, no disc) also ship starting November 12 so console owners can start downloading ahead of release day too. Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch. GTA 6 is confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, with PC listed as a post-launch release — Rockstar hasn't given PC players a firm date yet. Every past Rockstar flagship (GTA V, RDR2) followed the same pattern, arriving on PC roughly a year or more after consoles.
Where can I preorder?
Both editions are listed on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Rockstar's own store, plus major retailers like Amazon and GameStop for physical copies. Buy through an official storefront or a retailer you already trust — treat any listing you can't verify as unofficial.
