GTA6 Resources ("we", "us") runs gta6resources.com and The Block RP, our roleplay community at theblockgta6.com — a fan-run, unofficial hub for GTA 6 news and roleplay, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. This page explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at theblockroleplay@gmail.com.

1. What We Collect

Account info. If you create an account (to vote or comment on the wiki, or to build a roleplay character), we store the email and password you provide, handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.

Newsletter email. If you sign up for leak alerts separately from an account, we store just that email address, where you signed up, and whether you're still subscribed.

Content you submit. Roleplay characters (name, backstory, photo, family relations, crew name), wiki comments, and wiki votes are stored and, except for votes, shown publicly. Comments display only the part of your email before the "@" — never your full address.

Automatically collected. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic — general device/browser info, pages viewed, and approximate location from IP address. We don't sell this data or use it to build advertising profiles.

Cookies & local storage. Google Analytics sets cookies. We also use your browser's local storage for small UI state, like remembering that you've already clicked "Follow" on the giveaway widget — that's not used for tracking.

2. How We Use It

• To run the account features you use — signing in, voting, commenting, building and displaying your roleplay character.
• To send the emails you actually signed up for (leak alerts, digests) — never anything you didn't opt into.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• To run giveaways and contact winners.

3. Who We Share It With

We don't sell your data. We use a small set of service providers to run the site, each bound by their own privacy practices: Supabase (accounts, database, storage), Resend (sending the emails you sign up for), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google Analytics (traffic analytics).

4. Your Choices

• Unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom of it, or via /unsubscribe.
• Request your account or data be deleted by emailing theblockroleplay@gmail.com.
• Control cookies through your browser's settings.

5. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
