A figure calling themselves Cyberleek has posted apparent GTA 6 clips and a Leonida map online, pairing the leak with a list of demands aimed at Rockstar and other publishers.
According to GameSpot, new footage and details purporting to be from Grand Theft Auto 6 have surfaced online, and while nothing has been officially confirmed, Rockstar's reported DMCA takedown requests hint that at least some of the material could be genuine. The leaker behind the posts, who uses the handle Cyberleek, accompanied the release with a set of "commandments" directed at Rockstar and other game publishers, including demands to stop selling digital preorders, avoid "fake" single-player DLC, and preserve single-player content going forward.
GameSpot reports that the statement warned these demands represent "the floor--not the ceiling--of what is acceptable," and threatened further leaks against publishers who don't comply. Per the outlet, one clip already growing hard to find online shows co-lead Jason at home playing a basketball minigame, complete with a look at an updated HUD and an in-game tutorial explaining the controls. Some viewers who saw the footage reportedly believe it comes from an early development build rather than the version set to ship this fall.
A second clip described by GameSpot shows Jason driving before crashing into traffic and provoking a delivery driver into a fistfight, which then draws police attention -- offering a glimpse at both the driving and combat systems. A map said to depict the game's Leonida setting also circulated as part of the leak, though GameSpot notes it's unclear whether that map actually originated from Rockstar or was fan-made.
The leak arrives just over a week before GTA 6's extended Netflix showcase, scheduled for August 27, which is expected to give fans an in-depth look at the game ahead of launch. GTA 6 remains on track for a November 19 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with GameSpot noting that while physical copies will reportedly ship as code-in-box, Take-Two has not entirely ruled out a disc release.
