Grenades have been a GTA series staple since the original 2D-era games, typically serving as the baseline area-damage throwable that other explosive options, like Molotovs or the leaked Grenade Launcher, build on or complement. Nothing in the leaked reference suggests any major departure from how grenades have worked in past entries.
