Extended Look Clip Gets a Second Life in Short-Form Format
Written by the GTA6 Resources team
Fans who missed the original broadcast now have another way to catch the footage, as Rockstar's own channel packages the Extended Look for quick, on-the-go viewing.
Rockstar Games has published a version of its "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" footage tagged as "Now Playing" on YouTube Shorts, according to a listing on the platform dated August 28, 2026.
The post, marked with the hashtags #GrandTheftAutoVI and #GTAVI, points viewers to a shortened, vertical-friendly cut of the Extended Look material that has been circulating since its original reveal. Rockstar's decision to push the clip out through Shorts suggests the studio wants the footage to stay visible across as many formats as possible, catching viewers who scroll rather than seek out full-length uploads.
Details on the exact runtime or whether the Shorts cut trims any specific scenes from the footage were not included in the source listing. As with previous short-form reposts, this appears to be part of Rockstar's ongoing effort to keep the Extended Look content circulating widely ahead of the game's release.
We'll continue to watch for any official word from Rockstar on further promotional pushes tied to the Extended Look material.
