Rockstar Posts Its Own Short-Form Cut of the Extended Look

After days of reactions, breakdowns, and screenshot dumps from outlets covering Netflix's showcase, Rockstar has finally published its own version of the footage.
Rockstar Games has uploaded a YouTube Short titled "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look — Now Playing," giving fans an official, Rockstar-hosted version of the extended footage that debuted through Netflix's showcase.
The upload is tagged simply with #GrandTheftAutoVI and #GTAVI, and the source excerpt provided doesn't include additional written commentary from Rockstar accompanying the clip. Given the short-form format, it appears to be a trimmed or repackaged cut of material already circulating rather than new, previously unseen footage.
Still, having the extended look live directly on Rockstar's own channel matters for fans who want a source they can point to without relying on third-party rehosts or outlet write-ups. It also suggests Rockstar is keeping the momentum going on its own platforms following the wave of press coverage, reactions, and detail-mining that followed the initial Netflix reveal.
We'll update this post if Rockstar shares any additional context, captions, or follow-up material tied to this upload. In the meantime, fans combing through the footage frame-by-frame will likely keep surfacing new details in the days ahead.
