Amateur Sleuth Claims to Have Traced Blockchain Wallet Tied to Ongoing Leak Campaign

A self-styled internet detective says they've followed the money trail behind the leaks straight to a crypto wallet -- and believes it's only a matter of time before Rockstar closes in.
According to Kotaku, a fan investigating the ongoing GTA 6 leak situation claims to have identified a cryptocurrency wallet allegedly connected to whoever is behind the leaks. The report notes the individual believes the person responsible is "making a substantial amount of money" from the scheme.
The claim adds to a growing pile of theories swirling around the leak saga, as fans and amateur investigators try to piece together who is behind the drip-feed of alleged footage and how they're profiting from it. Kotaku's report frames this as one fan's personal effort rather than a confirmed finding, so the accuracy of the wallet tracing remains unverified.
Crypto angles have already surfaced elsewhere in the leak story, with financial trails reportedly linking some of the recent leaks to a token-related scheme. Whether this newly claimed wallet connects to that same activity isn't clear from the available details.
As with much of the leak discourse, it's worth treating this as speculation until something more concrete emerges -- whether from Rockstar, Take-Two, or law enforcement. The fan behind the claim reportedly believes exposure is coming regardless, framing it as inevitable that Rockstar will eventually catch up to those responsible.
