Leaked Clip Puts Jason Inside a Leonida Nudist Resort, Binoculars and All
A newly circulated clip suggests Leonida will have its own clothing-optional hangout -- and Jason's decision to bring binoculars doesn't go over well with the locals.
A fresh piece of leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 footage making the rounds online appears to show co-protagonist Jason exploring what looks like a nudist colony, according to GameSpot. The short clip reportedly runs just a few minutes and follows Jason as he walks past a pool and several hot tubs populated by dozens of unclothed NPCs dancing and milling about.
Reactions to Jason's presence vary in the clip. Some of the nudist colony's residents seem indifferent to the fully-clothed newcomer wandering through, while others are visibly annoyed. One woman reportedly notices Jason watching the scene through binoculars and responds by physically attacking him -- an outcome GameSpot dryly notes seems like a fair response.
This clip is just the latest in a string of leaked GTA 6 footage that has surfaced over the past week from a leaker who remains unidentified. Despite the steady drip of unauthorized clips, GameSpot cites a former Rockstar technical director who argues the leaks likely won't cause much damage to the studio, since most players reportedly don't care much about them -- especially compared to the fallout Rockstar faced over the Hot Coffee controversy in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
That said, Take-Two isn't sitting idle. The publisher is said to be actively issuing subpoenas in an attempt to track down the leaker's identity. Meanwhile, Rockstar's official gameplay reveal is still on track for August 27 via Netflix, ahead of GTA 6's November 19 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
