A joke that once fooled the internet in 2021 may have found new life as scripted NPC dialogue -- if the latest footage making the rounds is legit.
Kotaku reports that yet another alleged GTA 6 clip has surfaced online, this time drawing attention for an NPC line that echoes a viral prank from 2021: "Is there gas in the car?"
According to the outlet, the callback has fans buzzing, with many treating the reference as a sign of the kind of internet-savvy humor Rockstar could be baking into the game's world. As with the wave of alleged leaks before it, though, the clip's authenticity has not been independently verified.
Kotaku's report does not go into further detail about the clip's length, setting, or how it began circulating, only noting that the moment has quickly become a talking point among those tracking the ongoing string of leaks.
Given the sheer volume of alleged GTA 6 footage that has hit social media in recent weeks, fans and skeptics alike are treating this latest find with the usual mix of excitement and caution until Rockstar or Take-Two weighs in, if they do at all.
