A newly surfaced clip reportedly showing Jason Duval driving to a Tate McRae song, brawling on foot, and zapping enemies with a "Shocker" weapon has been flagged by Kotaku as the latest in a wave of unverified GTA 6 leaks.

According to GameSpot, a second wave of purported Grand Theft Auto VI leak footage has emerged, this time centered on protagonist Jason Duval. Kotaku reportedly spotted the clip, which is titled "Taser Video," though the electrified weapon Jason picks up mid-fight is apparently just called Shocker in-game.

The footage described in the report starts with Jason driving a car while Tate McRae's "Sports Car" plays, followed by a minor fender bender. He then gets out for on-foot combat, pistol-whipping enemies before taking the Shocker off a downed foe. From there, he reportedly uses the weapon on an already-incapacitated target as well as two more attackers who close in on him, with the weapon's range appearing notably long. The clip is said to end with a brief cutscene of Jason and his friend Cal Hampton sharing a beer on a boat.

This clip follows a prior day of alleged leaks that reportedly included footage of Jason playing basketball alone and what was claimed to be the full in-game map, per GameSpot's account. As with those earlier clips, Rockstar Games has not issued any official comment on this material.

GameSpot notes the leakers have claimed their actions are meant to serve players' interests, pointing to frustration over GTA 6 reportedly not shipping on disc as one motivation. Consumer group Stop Killing Games has pushed back on that framing, stating that people should not support the group behind the leaks.

Rockstar's official "Extended Look" trailer is still on track for August 27, debuting first on Netflix, GameSpot reports. GTA 6 has also recently shown up in a PS5 promo that reportedly looked slightly different from prior footage, adding to the flurry of unofficial glimpses circulating ahead of the official reveal.
