YouTube Shorts Now Hosts the Official Extended Look Clip
Written by the GTA6 Resources team
Rockstar's own channel quietly added a vertical cut of the Extended Look, giving fans another official place to watch beyond the original broadcast.
Rockstar Games has published a version of its "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" on YouTube Shorts, tagged "Now Playing" and marked with #GrandTheftAutoVI and #GTAVI. The post went up on Rockstar's own YouTube channel, giving the footage a dedicated short-form home outside of whatever platform originally hosted the full showcase.
Details in the post itself are minimal — it's essentially a title card and hashtags pointing viewers to the clip, without additional written context from Rockstar. Still, its presence on Shorts suggests the studio wants the Extended Look footage circulating widely across short-form feeds, not just as a single long-form upload or showcase stream.
For fans tracking every official drop, this marks another avenue through which Rockstar is pushing the same core footage. Whether the Shorts cut trims content differently than other versions currently floating around isn't specified in the post, so it's worth comparing side-by-side if you're hunting for new frames or details.
As always with these official posts, treat it as a distribution move rather than a new content reveal — the substance is the same Extended Look material, just resized and re-hashtagged for a different audience.
