Since a PS5 will be required to play GTA VI at launch (unless you're willing to wait for an unannounced PC port), owning Sony's console has never felt more relevant. GameSpot highlighted a way to potentially snag one on the cheap: Fanatical's Mystery Vault Bundle offers a chance to win a PS5 1TB model with a disc drive for just $1 a pop.
Winning the console itself is a long shot, but according to GameSpot, buyers don't walk away empty-handed either way, since every purchase includes a Steam key. Buying in bulk drives the price per key down further, with the outlet noting that 25 keys can be had for $17.49, working out to under a dollar each.
GameSpot's writer, who described themselves as a longtime PC player, said the PS5 has become their favorite secondary platform thanks to console exclusives, and specifically mentioned buying a PS5 Pro partly in anticipation of GTA VI's release. With physical media becoming less common heading into the PlayStation 6 generation, deals like this one offer a rare chance to grab a disc-drive PS5 at a steep discount.
